Privacy notice

This page explains what personal data Storeside Consulting collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

Who we are

Storeside Consulting helps online stores with retention marketing, tools and AI agents. For any question about your data, write to alex [at] storesideconsulting [dot] com.

When you visit this site

  • We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not follow you to other sites. It records the page you open, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and your country.
  • Cloudflare also hosts the site. Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks.
  • We do not use cookies, ads, tracking pixels or social media plugins. The fonts are stored on this site, so your browser does not contact Google. The only cookie on this domain is a login cookie for our own private page, and visitors never get it.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure site and in knowing how people use it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you write to us

  • We get your name, your email address and what you write. We use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project.
  • We keep the emails while we talk and for up to two years after our last contact. If we sign a contract, we keep the records that tax and accounting law require.
  • We never sell your data. We never add you to a mailing list without your consent.

Legal basis: steps before a contract and the contract itself (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in answering your message (Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you book a call

  • The booking form sends us your name, email, store website, the times you picked, your time zone and your message, if you write one. It comes to us as an email, and we use it only to arrange the call and reply to you.
  • We do not store the form in a database. To stop spam, we keep a short count of requests per day and per hour. For the hourly count we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address, never the address itself. Both counts are deleted automatically within two days.
  • To show only free times, the site checks the busy times in our own calendar. It uses no data about you for this.
  • The times you pick are hidden from other visitors for 48 hours, so two people do not ask for the same time. We keep only the times, not who picked them.
  • We keep the email with your request in the same way as other emails, see above.

Legal basis: steps before a contract that you ask for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in stopping spam (Art. 6(1)(f)).
